Mike Muse

Kenneth Michael Muse (Mike), 66, passed away peacefully Nov. 14, 2020 at his home in Houston TX after a 5 year battle with cancer. He was loved and cared for so diligently by his wife Dianne during these difficult years. 

He is survived by his wife , Dianne (daughter, Michelle Butcher), his daughter Tammy Lugin (son in-law Jake), granddaughters McKenzie Lugin and Genevieve Lugin, mother Betty Muse, mother in-law Imogene Taylor, sister Barbara Roope and her family. He was preceded in death by his Father Ben A. Muse and his Son Christopher Michael Muse.

Mike worked for the WSFCS system until retiring and moving to TX where he began a career with the Houston Rockets as the Quality Control Supervisor at the Toyota Center. He loved his job and the Houston Rockets family treated him like family.

Mike was an excellent Martial Artist and taught Karate for years in Winston Salem at Karate International.

Mike will be remembered for his big appetite, his love for his family, his pride and adoration for his children and granddaughters, his amazing humor and his dedication to his job, family and friends.
