James Ray Moser VIEW PROFILE

James Ray Moser, age 68, of Pfafftown, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born on June 6, 1953, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to Norvell and Mary Moser who preceded him in death.

Jim graduated from North Forsyth High School in 1972. He served in the US Air Force from 1973 to 1977. He then joined the Winston-Salem Police Department and retired as a sergeant after 30 years of service in 2002.

Jim is survived by his wife, Beverly B. Moser, and his special little dog Cooper and special niece Kasey Dixon. Survivors include father-in-law and mother-in-law J.D. and Clara Beroth, sisters-in-law Carol Fincher, Phyllis (Jeff) Heitman, Tracy (Dennis) Lee, special neighbor, and friend Wade Fincher. Sister Lynda Allen, brother Ken Moser, daughter Caroline. Several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces, and great-nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm-2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, in the fellowship hall at Olivet Moravian Church. The memorial service will begin at 2:00 pm in the sanctuary with burial to follow in the church graveyard.
