Ric's Flic

"Ric's Flic" was orginally created as a social studies project for Mr. Brent's class. All of the original footage was shot using a wind-up Bell & Howell 8mm film camera, and then edited by hand using 8mm tape splices, with various clips from old movies added in along the way. A roughly synchronized musical soundtrack was added using a reel-to-reel tape recorder, mostly thanks to the extraordinary technical acumen and dogged persistence of Calvin Johnson. But the real stars of the show were the many fellow students and faculty at North Forsyth, all those many years ago, who contributed all the smiles and vamps and almost invariably reacted with great enthusiasm and good humor to that endlessly annoying guy with the camera!
